Look What They’re Building On McFarland Blvd

Construction has begun on a new hotel on McFarland Blvd. The hotel will open next spring. A $14 million dollar TownePlace Suites by Marriott is being built.

The hotel owners say they want to capitalize on University of Alabama growth and football success.

There will be 93 rooms complete with small kitchens. Also an in indoor pool  on site with the expected rate at $135 a night.

The location will be between Buffalo Wild Wings the Springbrook neighborhood off McFarland Blvd.
