The Third Annual Roots Fest has been set for April 27 in Tuscaloosa's own Government Plaza, and its six-act lineup has been officially announced.

This year, the show will be headlined by Americana band Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors, and will feature additional performances by American Aquarium, Adam Hood, Courtney Patton, Jason Eady and Joshua Ray Walker.

The music festival was founded in 2017 by Dustin and Kacie Spruill, who own and operates the Local Roots food truck in and around Tuscaloosa.

Roots Fest aims to bring together the city's growing food truck culture with world-class Americana and folk music in a local festival that's free to attend.
