Archibald's Bar-B-Que has been a cornerstone of the Tuscaloosa barbecue scene since 1962. Founded by George and Betty Archibald in Northport, Alabama. They have a reputation for their hickory-smoked meats and distinctive vinegar-based sauce.

Today, Archibald's operates two primary locations in the Tuscaloosa area:

  1. 4215 Greensboro Avenue, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405
This location offers a full menu of barbecue classics, including their renowned ribs, pulled pork, and a variety of traditional Southern sides. Guests can enjoy a dine-in experience that reflects the family's commitment to quality and tradition.

  2. 1211 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Northport, AL 35476
Often referred to as the original Archibald's, this Northport location continues to serve the classic recipes that have made it a staple in the community since 1962.

Archibald's is well known in these parts. Most Birmingham residents have probably visited Tuscaloosa and dined at Archibald's. They at the very least know of Archibald's reputation as a legitimate Dreamland rival.
