Let's just get this out the way right now: I am a huge fan of James Spann. He could be a meteorologist anywhere he chooses, but he is here in Alabama and I couldn't be happier.

Anytime there's bad weather in Alabama, he's the one person many turn to. We even sometimes judge how severe the weather is going to be based on if he's wearing his suit jacket or not for goodness sake!

But with everything great that comes in life, there always has to be somebody to be "that person." We all know who I'm talking about.

The buzzkill, the party pooper, whatever you call it, they exist. We've probably been that person at one point in our lives.

But when it comes to weather coverage, silliness always seems to happen.

Last night during weather coverage, someone decided to send Spann an email regarding his interruption of their show.

First off...really? This is what we're mad about? An interruption of Family Feud?

We surveyed 100 people asking how silly this email was, and the number one answer was "very, " followed by "shouldn't have sent it."

Let's just think for a moment here. Is Family Feud or the safety of others more important?

Personally, I'd argue for the safety of others, but what do I know personally.

Thankfully, James knew how to respond calmly and collected. This is why he is one of the best meteorologists in the state of Alabama.

Thank you James Spann for keeping us safe as always, and to the weather troll, take advice from this comment:
