Performance dates include:

The play highlights the real-life story of Erma Bombeck, a comedian and nationally-syndicated writer. Her newspaper column "At Wit's End," which ran from the 1960's to the 1990's, spoke on relatable experiences of the suburban home life.

Theatre Tuscaloosa described the play as a comedy that "explores themes of motherhood, identity, and societal roles in a familiar, witty tone."

"Discover the story behind this beloved humorist who championed women's lives with wit that sprang from the most unexpected place -- the truth," the site reads.

Tickets are available now for $8 apiece.

The show runs about an hour and will not have an intermission.

Although the show does not contain offensive language or adult situations, Theatre Tuscaloosa recommends it for an audience of "ages 13 and older."
