Search Underway for Man Who Fled Deputies on Highway 69 South Outside Tuscaloosa
UPDATE 5:15 p.m.: the suspect has been taken into custody with assistance from the TCSO K-9 unit.
A search is underway for a man who reportedly fled from Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's deputies Tuesday afternoon.
TCSO took to social media Tuesday to alert the public to the search, which was being conducted in the area of Highway 69 South near Maxwell Loop Road.

The suspect is described as a white male, standing around six feet tall with blonde hair and green eyes. He was reportedly last seen wearing a red shirt.
The public is asked to be aware of increased police activity in the area. Anyone who sees someone matching the description above should call TCSO at 205-752-0616.
