
Walker County Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash Outside Parrish
A Saturday afternoon crash in Walker County killed a young man from Oakman, Alabama, State Troopers said on Sunday.
Senior Trooper Gregory Corble, a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, said 21-year-old Thomas McGuff was driving on Pleasantfield Road yesterday when his 2013 Ford F-250 left the roadway.

The truck struck an embankment, then a tree. Corble said McGuff was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, which occurred about a mile south of the town of Parrish at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.
No other details were available Sunday as State Troopers continue to investigate the deadly accident.
