Being behind the wheel can be a dangerous game, whether that is on the regular road or on the highways.
Over the past couple of years with many people texting and driving crashes and fatalities have been a major concern for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division.
Even with highways being dangerous in Alabama, troopers assigned to ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division investigated crashes that resulted in 26 fewer lives lost in 2023 as compared to 2022, which is a positive trend spanning over the last two years as 2022 saw a decline of 19 fatalities as compared to 2021.
