Bryant High Hosting Black Culture Fest in Cottondale
Paul W. Bryant High School in Cottondale is getting ready to turn up the culture in a big way. The school has announced its upcoming Black Culture Fest, set for Thursday, February 26, 2026, starting at 5:00 pm on campus.
This is not just another school event. Organizers are building a full community experience centered around heritage, food, art, and local business. The goal is to spotlight the talent and entrepreneurial spirit that already lives right here in West Alabama.
Local restaurants, caterers, and home cooks are being called on to bring the flavor. Vendors will have the chance to serve up samples and give attendees a real taste of their culinary skills. From soul food staples to creative new dishes, the festival is shaping up to be a celebration of culture through cuisine.

Entrepreneurs and small business owners are also encouraged to get involved. The event will feature space for vendors to showcase products and services, creating an opportunity for local brands to connect directly with the community. Whether it is handmade goods, apparel, art, or services, this festival aims to highlight the diverse business landscape in the area.
According to event organizers, this festival is about more than a one-day celebration. It is about creating a platform for local talent and giving businesses and creatives a stage to shine.
Anyone interested in participating as a food vendor or business vendor can reach out to Quandra Carter at 205-499-8807 for registration details.
