The current track of this possible threat is from Wednesday, May 6, to Thursday, May 7. As we get closer to the impacts, the timing will be fine-tuned.

At this time, the Storm Prediction Center has the entire Townsquare Media Coverage Area under a Slight Risk, level 2 of 5. As we get closer to Wednesday, we will know the probability of tornadoes, severe winds, and hail.

Also, the National Weather Service in Birmingham said that “heavy rainfall may accompany these thunderstorms, offering a low potential for flooding due to recent soaking rains.”
