It was business as usual at Baumhower's restaurant this past Wednesday, September 10th, as Kalen DeBoer sat down with Crimson Tide Sports Network play-by-play man Chris Stewart for their weekly interview. This show, much like every other Alabama-related media publication, enjoyed a return to normalcy following a week two stomping over the ULM Warhawks. Coach DeBoer took questions from both callers and live audience members alike about things like health, gameplan, and team attitude heading into week three's matchup with the Wisconsin Badgers.

For starters, coach DeBoer announced that RB Jam Miller would be a "game-time decision" on Saturday as he continues to recover from a broken collarbone that he sustained in the team's second preseason scrimmage. Star WR Ryan Williams was cleared earlier in the day, and getting Miller back, along with team captain Tim Keenan will go a long way in righting the ship that was so terribly wronged after week one's shocking defeat to the Florida State Seminoles.

DeBoer was joined today by sophomore DB Zabien Brown on this week's show, and he wasn't short on compliments for the young corner. DeBoer raved about Brown, saying that his biggest hobby off the field is "watching film." He also said that Brown commands a great deal of respect throughout the locker room, not only with his play on the field, but also with his attitude and actions off the field as well.

DeBoer's most common reference throughout the show was to "physicality" when looking ahead to the Badgers. He said that he thought the team took a step in the right direction in that aspect on Saturday, but that it needs to take yet another on Saturday. That's hard to argue, as many fans still have questions following the lackluster effort put forward by the Crimson Tide to start to season.
