TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Crimson Tide took to the practice field for the second practice of spring football, spending an hour and a half working on drills. Alabama will put on pads and start hitting later this week before getting next week off for spring break. After the break, the Crimson Tide will return to practice for three weeks before the Tide's annual A-Day event on Saturday, April 11.

On Tuesday, the University of Alabama released more images from its second practice, featuring a continued look at junior wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams as Alabama's most experienced offensive player, while providing more insight into some of the Tide's newcomers, including JR Howard (32) and the quarterbacks, who redshirt junior Austin Mack is currently leading, followed by redshirt freshman Keelon Russell. On Tuesday, Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer spoke about Mack and Russell being "light years" ahead of where those two were last season.

Alabama will return to the practice field on Thursday, March 12, for the third practice of spring ball. Thursday's practice will include a media viewing session, and afterward, offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb and some of Alabama's offensive players will speak with the media.
