The Crimson Tide extended its longest win streak of the season to five games on Wednesday night after toppling No. 20 Arkansas in Coleman Coliseum, 117-115 in double overtime. A pair of Alabama stars had career nights, with Labaron Philon topping his previous career-high 32 points (against Mississippi State on January 13) with 35 against the Razorbacks. Aiden Sherrell also scored a career-high 26 points and collected a career-high 13 rebounds, notching the first double-double of his collegiate career. Alabama freshman Amari Allen was in on the action as well, securing his fifth career double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds against the Razorbacks on Wednesday night.

The Tide could have easily dropped the ball on Saturday against LSU after Wednesday night's thriller, but instead, the Tide found a different way to win, not relying on Philon, but rather, relying on Aden Holloway and Amari Allen to get the job done against the Tigers in a 90-83 victory over LSU. Aiden Sherrell followed up his first career double-double on Wednesday with his second career double-double on Saturday, with 12 points and 10 rebounds against the Tigers.
