Alabama rose one spot after moving up to number 15 in the AP poll after moving up one spot the week before to number 16 in the poll. Alabama has continued its remarkable turnaround after winning eight straight games in the month of February, following the loss to Florida.

The Crimson Tide split the last two games of the regular season in March, losing in Athens, Georgia, to the Bulldogs 98-88. Alabama came out swinging against the Auburn Tigers in the regular season finale, winning 96-84. Alabama star point guard Labaron Philon Jr. scored 21 points while shooting 50% from the floor and 26.6% from three. Junior guard Aden Holloway tied Philon for most points scored against Auburn with 21 points as well.

The Crimson Tide will take the court on Friday, March 13th at 7:00 pm EST for the Tide's first appearance in the 2026 SEC men's basketball tournament. The opponent is yet to be determined, but we know the Crimson Tide will play one of Ole Miss, Texas, or Georgia, based on the bracket.
