The Alabama Crimson Tide have been active in the men's basketball transfer portal, already adding two high-caliber scorers in Houston Mallette and Chris Youngblood. While the Tide continues to lose players through the portal, Alabama has five scholarship players in the portal from their Final Four run, Alabama isn't hurting for players to enter the program.

Alabama only has two scholarships open at this time, and one of them has now been taken. Auburn guard transfer Aden Holloway has committed to Nate Oats and the Alabama program, according to...Joe Tipton of On3 Sports.

Holloway, six-foot-one, 178 pounds, is entering his sophomore season. During his freshman year at Auburn, Holloway averaged 7.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. He shot 30.2% from three and 31.8% from the field in Auburn's rotation a season ago.

His highest-scoring game came in the Rocket City Classic against Indiana, where he scored 24 points and shot five-for-eight from three in 22 minutes of play.

Holloway played against Alabama twice last season. In Coleman Coliseum, he scored two points and went 0-for-5 from beyond the arc. In the rematch in Neville Arena, Holloway shot 1-for-5 from beyond the arc and scored six total points.

Alabama may not be done making additions from the portal. 6-foot-11, 240-pound Clifford Omoruyi is expected to visit Alabama during the last weekend of April. With Mark Sears going through the draft process, and the draft decision still pending for Grant Nelson, Alabama is preparing for life after their superstars from the Final Four run. Alabama head coach Nate Oats is high on Holloway, and he'll fit in well with Oats scheme and system.
