The Alabama Crimson Tide coaching staff is currently shuffling into place for the 2023 season. The Tide recently settled on Tommy Rees and Kevin Steele as its new offensive and defensive coordinators respectively.

The Tide lost analyst Todd Grantham to the New Orleans Saints and analyst Dave Huxtable left for the Atlanta Falcons.

Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban is replacing those analysts from within by promoting Max Bullough from graduate assistant to analyst.

Bullough has been a graduate assistant with the Crimson Tide since 2020. The former Michigan State linebacker spent nearly five seasons in the NFL before joining the University of Cincinnati as a graduate assistant in 2019.

Bullough has been helping with the inside linebackers during his previous seasons with the Crimson Tide. He earned second team All-Big 10 in his sophomore year and first team All-Big 10 his junior and senior season. Unfortunately, he was suspended for the Rose Bowl to close out his Michigan State career for a violation of team rules.

During his nearly five years in the NFL on and off the active rosters for the Houston Texans and the Cleveland Browns he accumulated 56 tackles.
