Although the team does not play this weekend, they still have a duty to watch film, practice, and prepare for their first SEC test of the season.

On Thursday, during prayer availability, wide receiver Isaiah Horton met with media members to detail what it's like playing in a talented but unselfish wide receiver room, what preparation has been like this week, and what it means for him to be a part of the upcoming matchup between Alabama and Georgia.

Alabama's wide receiver room is notably one of the top groups in the nation; for this crucial unit to work, it requires not just talent, but selflessness to be successful among each other. "We are successful as the success of others. So we need everybody else to do their 1-0. It's eleven guys on the field and it's not just a one-man show," Horton said when discussing how the unselfish mindset of the wide receiver has grown.

One of the biggest questions before the Crimson Tide head to Athens, Georgia, is how they can establish their run game; furthermore, how can the wide receivers help establish the run game? Horton believes blocking is key from the receivers in order to do so. "We got to block. You got to establish the run game. Once we establish that, it's go time after that," Horton said.

The Crimson Tide will need to build on everything they can before entering a hostile environment like Athens. According to Horton, the biggest emphasis from the coaches has been "blocking out the outside noise," specifying that the crowd can't win a game for nobody, so it's mandatory to block it out.

Horton has never played against the Bulldogs but has received much advice from his teammates and staff around him. When asked what advice he has received about the matchup, he mentioned, "This is the game you want to be a part of. It's just one of those games and we're going to be ready for it for sure."

Alabama and Georgia will clash on Sept. 27 in Sanford Stadium, kicking off at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
