Crimson Tide Climbs In Polls After Thrilling Road Win
The Alabama men's basketball team secured its second win of the season last Saturday, defeating then-No. 5 St. John's 103-96 on the road.

Entering the game ranked No. 15 nationally, the Crimson Tide's victory over a top-five opponent propelled them to No. 8 in the latest AP Poll and No. 9 in the USA Today poll.
In addition to the poll jumps, Andy Katz, a men's basketball analyst for March Madness, recognized Alabama as Team of the Week.
Under coach Nate Oats, the Crimson Tide has started the season strong and aims to replicate its past success in the March Madness tournament later in the season. Maintaining a spot in the AP Top 25 and collecting wins over top opponents will be crucial for another successful season.
Alabama will face No. 2 Purdue on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 6 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
