The SEC, it just means more... teams continuing its season.

The SEC's representation in bowl games this season will not be small. 13 of the 14 teams finished the season bowl eligible; not only is that the most in SEC history. but also the most out of any Power 5 conference this season.

The only team to miss out- Vanderbilt, who finished the season 2-10.

According to CBS Sports, "In order for an FBS team to officially become bowl-eligible, it needs at least six wins with a minimum winning percentage of .500... Teams can only count one win against an FCS opponent toward the total number of wins needed for bowl eligibility."

Two teams received eligibility this weekend: LSU with its 27-24 win over (15) Texas A&M, and Florida with its 24-21 win over Florida State.

The ACC will have the second-most teams represented in the Power 5 conferences with 10, the Big 10 comes in third with 9 teams, the Big 12 has 7 teams, and the Pac 12 will bring six teams to bowl games.

As of right now, the projected bowl's to feature an SEC team are: Texas Bowl, Citrus Bowl, Outback Bowl, TaxSlayer Bowl, Music City Bowl, Liberty Bowl, Birmingham, Bowl, and the Sugar Bowl, according to CBS Sports.

Three SEC teams are currently projected to appear in a New Years Six Bowl: Alabama, Ole Miss and Georgia. The only question still looming is will Alabama get a CFP bid or go into a bowl game as a 2-loss team? We'll find out Saturday.
