How Alabama Football Is Adjusting To COVID-19 And More With Cecil Hurt
Wednesday morning Cecil Hurt, sports editor of The Tuscaloosa News, joined senior analyst for BamaOnline Host Travis Reier to discuss how Alabama is adjusting under the COVID-19 pandemic, and how the virus affected college basketball.
"I'm sure he's doing all that he can do to stay in contact," Hurt discussed with Host Reier how Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban is adjusting to COVID-19's affect on college football. "There's probably some type of teleconference staff meeting everyday."
"Who's contacted which recruit," Hurt continued. "Keeping all of that organized. I guess in a certain way there's more time to breakdown film."

"He's certainly a community leader," Hurt told Reier about Coach Nick Saban's public service announcements to be safe as we undergo the COVID-19 pandemic. "Let's people know what they need to do, and what is the best course of action to take.
"To show how they are handling it," Hurt continued. "Nick Saban has said many times he is not a sit-at-home guy. Certainly has been tough on him, but you have to do what's best for everybody."
