Heads Up for Drivers: Dense Fog Advisory for Portions of Alabama
The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Dense Fog Advisory. It will be in effect Wednesday, December 18, from 2 a.m. until 8 a.m.
You should know that visibility is one-quarter to one-half miles in dense fog. These conditions could lead to low visibility and could make driving conditions hazardous.
If you need to drive during this timeframe, you are encouraged to slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Greene
Hale
Perry
Sumter
All counties impacted: Autauga, Barbour, Bibb, Bullock, Chambers, Chilton, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Greene, Hale, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Montgomery, Perry, Pike, Russell, Sumter, and Tallapoosa Counties.
