One of the most recognized brands in the world of hotels is planning its first location in Alabama. The brand would be the Hard Rock Hotel, and it would be located in Florence, Alabama.

Why go to that part of the state?

Well, it makes sense with the proximity to Muscle Shoals, and when it comes to music, Muscle Shoals has a deep history.

From famed recording studios and legendary songs cut right there in Muscle Shoals and that ultimately intrigued the Hard Rock Hotel owners.

What exactly will it look like inside is a question we’ll all have to wait and see in the coming months when the doors open.

In the locations that I have been fortunate enough to visit, you always see plenty of rock and pop, memorabilia and history on the walls and throughout the facility.

Much of that memorabilia is a TRUE pleasure to see and take in for the music fans among us.

NO GAMBLING ALLOWED

Is this the beginning of something even bigger?

Yes, we all know. Gambling is not allowed in Alabama however, many of the Hard Rock Hotel locations have a casino component in addition to the hotel and restaurant facilities.

Regardless of whether or not the plans will one day include a casino complex will have to wait for now but the good news is that another well known and popular tourist attraction is coming to Alabama, and music lovers are already planning a trip to the Alabama Hard Rock Hotel.
