The biggest fans of Halloween are in Delaware, North Dakota, Idaho, California, and ALABAMA.

The state that cares the LEAST for Halloween is Arizona. Hey, who can trick or treat when it’s 90 degrees outside? But Georgia, Virginia, and the Carolinas are big on Halloween too.

We reportedly purchase about 745 million pounds of candy every Halloween in the USA. We give out a lot of candy. And we eat a lot of our own Halloween candy. Halloween remains the favorite holiday of dentists nationwide.

And from the DUH department, chocolate is the most popular Halloween candy. I vote for Reeces and Snickers.

Here’s to a safe trick-or-treating season in Alabama. We love Halloween more than most.
