‘Gangnam Bluegrass Style’

The world’s unusual obsession with the international hit ‘Gangnam Style’ continues. This time the song gets a bluegrass makeover.

Country newcomer Charlie Worsham was issued a challenge: to arrange, mix, and record a cover version of PSY’s hit in 24 hours. The result, in my opinion, a catchier and certainly more enjoyable version of the song!

He’s also posted Challenge #2 which was to do the same with Ozzy Osbourne’s hit ‘Crazy Train’ but this time in 12 hours and using a few non-traditional instruments!

The songs were picked by his Twitter followers so get on board and help him pick the next one. Charlie is a multi-instrumentalist and darn good songwriter to boot. Listen for his latest original release ‘Could It Be’ spinning now on 95.3 The Bear!
