Dr. Serena Fortenberry Grades Mayor Walt Maddox

Tuscaloosa mayoral candidate Dr. Serena Fortenberry told 953 The Bear’s Steve Shannon that Walt Maddox deserves a D for his performance as mayor.

Fortenberry, an English professor at the U of A, cited dilapidated infrastructure, city debt, crime, struggling neighborhoods, and increasing poverty under Maddox 15 1/2 years as mayor.

Dr. Fortenberry promises she will not run for governor or raise taxes if elected mayor.

Tuesday March 2nd is election day in Tuscaloosa.
