Brant LaPish, the director of communications and PR for Tuscaloosa Tourism and Sports, stopped in the studio today to tell us about the Druid City Arts Festival. In It's 7th year, the festival will again be held at Government Plaza. There are a few things different this year.

The event is always free and always family friendly. This year there will be an established entertainment district. That means that if you are of age and purchase an adult beverage from a participating bar or restaurant, you can take it outside.

My wife and I enjoyed the festival last year and took home some really cool art. With over 90 artist this year, including Blossom the Painting Pig from Northport, you are sure to enjoy a beautiful day in downtown Tuscaloosa. Yep, a painting Pig! How cool is that? and cute too.
