DCH Announces Interim Chief Medical Officer

John Miller, MD has been appointed as interim Chief Medical Officer for the DCH Health System.

“Dr. Miller has served in several Medical Staff leadership roles over the years and we are grateful for his support as we evaluate the next iteration of Physician Leadership for the DCH Health System,” said Katrina Keefer, President and CEO, DCH Health System.
Dr. Miller will continue seeing patients through Tuskaloosa Internal Medicine, DCH Palliative Care and Hospice of West Alabama. Additionally, Dr. Miller will remain the Medical Director of the DCH Home Health program.

Dr. Miller is a lifelong resident of Tuscaloosa. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and has also completed a Fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Care. He is married to Ryn and they have two children, Bess and Robert.
