Damaging Wind Threat Across Alabama Kicks Off the Weekend
A series of weather systems will impact the region, bringing thunderstorms from Friday afternoon into Saturday.
The National Weather Service in Birmingham said, "While large hail is possible, damaging winds will be the main threat with each storm.”
A marginal risk is in place from the Storm Prediction Center for portions of Alabama for Friday and Saturday.
