Tuscaloosa, AL – Join the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra on Monday, March 3rd at 7 PM in the Moody Concert Hall for an exceptional evening of music and artistry titled "Picture This." This unique concert will feature the acclaimed violinist Adé Williams and include performances of William Grant Still's From the Black Belt Suite, Mussorgsky and Ravel's Pictures at an Exhibition, and Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1.
Praised as “stunning” by the New York Times, Adé Williams is celebrated for her dynamic performances and profound connection with audiences. A recipient of the prestigious 2023 Stradivari Society award, Williams has captivated listeners worldwide, performing with leading orchestras such as the Philadelphia and Cleveland Orchestras, and appearing at renowned venues including Carnegie Hall and London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall.
For this concert, the TSO will collaborate with Central High School's art department to create a visual gallery inspired by the evening's musical selections.
