My youngest son, Zachary, is forever on a quest of chicanery and our dog, Petey, found himself Zak's latest target.

Exploiting our pit bull-labrador's love of all things edible, my son placed a large hunk of processed cheese squarely on the dog's back and watched with enjoyment as Pete-Pete started longingly at the morsel just beyond his reach. I'd be lying if I didn't admit I was impressed by the animal's tenacity.

Enjoy the video below, but spoiler alert, Pete finally gets his cheese but pay attention to the end as the camera pans down and my son's feet fill the frame for a brief moment.

Nice socks, Zak. The fact that you willingly wore pastel colored polka-dots to school is why you're the coolest 11-year old I know.
