Celebrate Mom and Benefit The Finn & Quinley Infant and Children’s Fund at DCH

Tuscaloosa Flower Shoppe and Northport Fire Rescue have teamed up again to help you celebrate mom and help the DCH Neonatal Intensive Care Unit!

You can place your flower order for mom from Tuscaloosa Flower Shoppe today. Then on Friday May 6th, Off-Duty Northport Fire Rescue Firefighters will do the deliveries!

All fees and tips from Friday will go to DCH NICU to benefit The Finn & Quinley Infant and Children's Fund. Finn & Quinley were born at Northport Medical Center in 2004. Their lives were short but they live on in our hearts. The fund allows for improvements for infants, children and their families throughout the DCH Health System.

Northport Fire Captain/Public Information Officer Jason Norris stopped in our studio this morning to tell us about this years event.

Captain Norris and his family had a personal experience with the DCH NICU. His daughter, Neely was born six weeks premature and spent 3 weeks in the NICU. She is happy and healthy now! Jason and his family are thankful for the care she received at DCH.
