Brookwood High School Students Protest Dress Code
More than 100 Brookwood High School Students protested outside school this morning after being turned away from their homecoming dance on Friday night. The school dress code does not allow for students to show shoulders or knees and many were denied entry to the homecoming dance.
According to WIAT-TV, 700 signatures for a petition to change the school dance's dress code. Tuscaloosa County Superintendent Walter Davie says the situation is being investigated and will not comment until the investigation is complete.
