Birmingham to Host United States Women’s National Soccer Team Victory Tour

The newly-crowned 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup champions will take on the Australian women’s national soccer team at Legion Field on Sunday, September 20th! 

The Alabama Sports Foundation announced today that tickets are set to go on sale Friday, July 31st at 10 am for the fourth match of the United States women’s national soccer team’s 10-city victory tour. The match-up in September will begin at 1:30 pm and will be broadcast on ESPN2.

Gene Hallman, CEO of Bruno Event Team and the Executive Director of the Alabama Sports Foundation said,

We are excited to kick-off ticket sales this week. We’ve received a lot of positive feedback surrounding this exciting event coming to Birmingham and we encourage fans to purchase tickets early because ticket prices will increase at the gate.

Tickets start at only $25 and can be purchased online here or by phone at 1-800-745-3000. Additionally, tickets can also be purchased at all Ticketmaster ticket centers (including Publix and Walmart locations). Tickets will not be sold at Legion Field except for the day of the event.

Other cities that have been selected to host the victory tour are Chattanooga, Detroit and Pittsburgh. The remaining six match dates, venues and opponents will be announced as they are confirmed.
