The Auburn Tigers completed its No. 18 recruiting class by signing exactly zero prospects on the February signing date. Due to recruiting ineptitude, coordinator uncertainty and a below .500 record, first year head coach Bryan Harsin has come under major fire from the Auburn faithful.

Rumors have been circulating that the hard-nosed Harsin may not last much longer as Auburn's administration evaluates the sustainability of what he has built. The Auburn powers that be have been meeting over the weekend and the university has now released a statement, keeping the college football world up to date on Harsin's status.

The Auburn administration is judiciously collecting information from a variety of perspectives, including our student-athletes, and moving swiftly to understand any issues in accordance with university policies and procedures. Decisions regarding the future of Auburn and its Athletics programs, as always, are made in the interests of our great university and in fairness to all concerned. We do not make institutional decisions based on social media posts or media headlines.

It remains to be seen if Bryan Harsin will make it to year number two on The Plains. Keep it locked into Tide 100.9 FM and Tuscaloosa Thread as this story continues to develop.
