Alert: Frost Advisory Issued for Several Alabama Counties
The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a “Frost Advisory.” This advisory applies to portions of Alabama and includes some counties in West Alabama.
This advisory is for Thursday, October 17, from 3 a.m. until 8 a.m.
Temperatures as low as 34 will result in frost formation.

The risk of frost prediction for many counties in Alabama is ahead of schedule. According to Dave’s Garden, Fayette and Lamar were scheduled for their first frost around October 22, while Walker County was forecasted for October 27.
