Tree Seedling Giveaway and Recycling Event Planned

Northport, the Alabama Forestry Commission, and Alabama Power will host their annual tree seedling giveaway in February.

The event will take place on February 28, 2026, at Northport City Hall from 7:00 to 11:00 AM.

A variety of tree seedlings will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with specific species to be announced closer to the event date.

The event features tree planting tips and proper placement.

Due to anticipated demand, you are encouraged to arrive early.
