Starting this Saturday, November 16, Alabama residents will have the opportunity to bid on a wide variety of surplus items in an online auction hosted by the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA). From vehicles to industrial equipment, tools, office furniture, and more, the auction offers something for everyone.

The auction will run from **7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16** until **6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24**. Interested bidders can browse and place bids on available items at any time during the auction period.

To participate, you'll first need to register as a qualified bidder. Visit the ADECA website for complete registration details: [https://adeca.alabama.gov/publicauctions](https://adeca.alabama.gov/publicauctions).

What’s Up for Bid?

The auction features a diverse assortment of items no longer needed by state and federal agencies, including **vehicles**, **industrial equipment**, **tools**, **office furniture**, and even **abandoned property** from several airports in the Southeast. All items are sold as-is, with no guarantees, so it's important to review listings and inspect items carefully before placing a bid.

Inspection Days: Nov. 20-22

While the auction itself takes place online, potential buyers will have the chance to inspect some of the available inventory in person. The **Montgomery Distribution Center** (4590 Mobile Highway) will be open for public viewing from **8 a.m. to 3 p.m.** on Wednesday, Nov. 20 through Friday, Nov. 22. It's a great opportunity to see some of the vehicles and other items up close before placing a bid.
