After dispatching Middle Tennessee State, Wisconsin and Oregon State to breeze through the Regionals last weekend at Rhoads Stadium, the 13th ranked Alabama Crimson Tide are headed to Seattle this weekend for a Super Regional matchup with #5 Washington.  The winner of the best 2 out of 3 series will advance to the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City.

Alabama and Washington did meet twice back in March in Seattle, with the Huskies winning both games.

Alabama has 8 of their last 9 games and are 36-18 on the season.  They are playing the Super Regionals for the 14th straight season, or every year since this format was adopted.

The first game is set for 8pm Friday.  The second game will be at 6pm on Saturday and game 3 will be Sunday at 6pm, if necessary.  Games 1 and 3 will be televised on ESPNU, game 2 on ESPN2.
