The University of Alabama continued its recent success in the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday night as C.J. Mosley and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix were both taken on night one.

Mosley was taken first at 17th overall by Baltimore. Alabama has a track record with the Ravens since Ozzie Newsome has been in the GM position for the franchise.

Clinton-Dix will join the Green Bay Packers after being selected 21st overall. He follows last year's rookie of the year and former Alabama running back Eddie Lacy.

Cyrus Kouandjio is still a possibility to go later in this round.

Nick Saban's success with Alabama is well documented, and the NFL Draft continues to add to his ability to recruit blue chip players to Tuscaloosa. Since 2009, NFL teams have taken 14 total Crimson Tide players in the first round.
