The truth is it was all an April fool's prank.  Even after telling some of these news outlets, they ran with the story. Some didn't even bother to ask any questions.

The moral of the story is don't trust everything you read or hear on the news. #fakenews

Kenny Walker said, "It was all intended to be an April fools joke in my hometown of Wilmer, Alabama. I posted the pictures that have been circling the internet for years. The photos do have similarities to Big Creek Lake here in Mobile, Alabama. The story went way further than I had expected. Multiple radio stations throughout many states and news reporters ran with the story. I’m a prime example that news stations and reporters can and will run a fake story without checking the authenticity or validating that the story is even true or not. We see it every day on our phones and televisions. I want to apologize to my hometown police department (MCSO) and the citizens of Mobile County for wasting their time. Especially, I want to apologize to anyone that was led to believe this story. It is not true. There is no bigfoot on big creek lake. Please make America great again."

Kenny Walker was live with Steve and DC on 953 The Bear. Here is the audio.
