The 2021 Alabama Crimson Tide football season has officially ended and now it's time for Coach Saban and the team's focus to shift towards the 2022 season. With many players entering the 2022 NFL Draft as well as some entering the transfer portal, the Crimson Tide may be looking to add some more players along with their new recruits and pickups from the transfer portal.

The team will have a walk-on information meeting, which is scheduled for Wednesday, January 19th at 6 p.m. CT at the Mal Moore Athletic Facility.

The requirements to be a walk-on at Alabama are you must be a current full time student at the university who is enrolled in 12 or more credit hours this semester.

Some notable walk-ons who were on the team last season are Braxton Barker (QB), son of former Crimson Tide quarterback Jay Barker, and Christian Johnson (LB), son of Niesa Johnson, former Alabama woman's basketball player who helped the team with their tournament run to the Final Four in 1994.

Other than current Alabama kicker Will Reichard, who is on scholarship, the rest of the special team's players (kickers, punters, and long snappers) are walk-ons.
