It seems like every other day, something happens in Alabama that sounds like it's straight out of a movie script.

A recent situation in Baldwin County proves this theory to be true. Following this post from the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office, movie scripts have nothing on real life occurrences in the state of Alabama.

This is actually contraband and that money would come with a hefty prison sentence if you were caught with the substance found.

According to a press release from the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office, 50 individually wrapped kilos of cocaine were found ashore the on the Ft Morgan Peninsula.

The press release says the drugs weighed approximately 110 pounds.

"We ask the public not to open bundles or packages, as they could contain hazardous chemicals or dangerous drugs," the BCSO posted on social media.
The post continued, "The BCSO would like to thank the caller for reporting this bundle so that law enforcement could begin an investigation into the source of the drugs. For additional information contact Captain Daniel Steelman."
Could you imagine seeing that bundle wash ashore while on a sunny beach getaway?!
