ALABAMA NEWS: Search resumes today for man who witness say jumped from Black Warrior River Toll bridge yesterday. Tuscaloosa Fire and Rescue EMS Chief Travis Parker said TFRS received a call at 3:26 from someone claiming to see a man cross the bridge wall then disappear.

NATIONAL NEWS: Eastern residents of the United States prepare for Hurricane Sandy to make landfall this evening. The storm is the second largest in two decades prompting one National Weather Service meteorologist to release his cell number encouraging any one to call and yell at him after the storm if they feel this weather event was ‘overhyped’.

SPORTS: Alabama gets comfortable in top spot of BCS standings. The Tide is one of four unbeaten teams with Kansas State, Notre Dame, Oregon and LSU rounding out the top five.
The San Francisco Giants are standing tall this morning after beating out the Detroit Tigers 4-3 during ten tense innings.

MUSIC: Toby Keith says he will not attend this year’s CMA Awards despite his nomination for ‘Red Solo Cup.’ This years nomination is Keith’s first since 2005 and unfortunately, a ‘root canal or something fun’ will prevent him from attending.
