Junior League of Tuscaloosa Brings Bunny Trail Back to Northport
The Junior League of Tuscaloosa (JLT) is bringing springtime magic back to Historic Downtown Northport with the 2026 Northport Bunny Trail, filling the season with a “whimsical celebration of art, community, and cheer,” said the press release.
Be sure to save the dates for the 2026 Northport Bunny Trail opening on Saturday, February 28, and lasting until sunset on Sunday, April 5.
During this vibrant kick-off to the spring season, visitors will enjoy the charm of Historic Downtown Northport as the trail includes a “collection of beautifully decorated 5-foot eggs, each designed and sponsored by local businesses, organizations, and individuals,” said the press release.

“The Junior League of Tuscaloosa exists to train women to lead and serve with purpose. The Northport Bunny Trail is more than a beloved spring tradition — it’s a way for us to invest directly back into our community while strengthening the mission that drives us,” said Junior League of Tuscaloosa President Danielle Kimbrough Spikes. “Every dollar raised helps us continue developing women leaders and supporting our valued community partners that make West Alabama stronger.”
Along the vibrant egg displays, visitors can snap photos and take part in a series of free, family-friendly events that celebrate the joy of the season. From lively opening festivities to enchanting evening gatherings and a tail-wagging pet-themed celebration, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
