Alabama Athlete Performance You Should Know About

Each week I will do my best to pinpoint a particular performance and the University of Alabama athlete who acomplished that feat. This week, congrats goes to both Krystle Schade and Alexis Paine!

During day three of the SEC Outdoor Championships at the University of Missouri's Audrey J. Walton Stadium, The Tide scored points in three women's events today.

Senior Krystle Schade took home third in the high jump earning six points. With today's result, the native of Sunrise, Fla., goes down as one of the most decorated jumpers in UA's history at the SEC Championships.

Senior and Mobile, AL native Alexis Paine placed fourth in the pole vault. I don't know what most of it means but RollTide.com says, "Paine recorded a mark of 13-5 ¼ (4.10m). Paine battled windy conditions to clear her final mark of 13-5 ¼, while passing on earlier marks of 12-5 ½ (3.80m) and 12-11 ½ (3.95m)."

Also, a big congratulations to The Tide's 3,000-meter steeplechase freshman Rebecca Stover who finished eighth while setting a new school record in the event.
