Here’s This Week’s Alabama Athlete Performance You Should Know About

Each week I will do my best to pinpoint a particular performance and the University of Alabama athlete who acomplished that feat. This week, congrats goes to Kayla Braud!

An outfielder for the UA softball team, Kayla was named one of 10 softball student-athletes as finalists for the Senior CLASS Award! CLASS is an acronym for "Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School". This award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.

Alabama fans are encouraged to go and vote for Kayla on the CLASS Award website. Voting ends May 13th.

At the time of this post, Kayla currenty leads with 27.6% of the votes, just ahead of Raven Chavanne of Tennessee.
