According to a new study, passenger planes flown without a pilot could happen by the year 2525.  The study says the move would save the airlines as much as $35 billion while lowering prices for passengers by perhaps 10%.   The study by UBS predicts these technology changes will eventually make flying safer and minimize human cockpit errors although only 17% of travelers say they would fly without a pilot. CNN claims computers pilot the majority of flights with human pilots only flying the aircraft for a few minutes per flight.  You can see more here.
