Winn Dixie Prepares For Bankruptcy

AL.Com reports that Bi-Lo, the company that owns Winn Dixie, is preparing to file for bankruptcy as early as next month.

The store will reportedly close as many as 200 hundred stores as part of their restructuring. The stores that will be closed have not been identified.

The Winn Dixie parent company is is more than $1 billion dollars in debt, according to Bloomberg.

Winn Dixie operates in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
