Win Tickets To See Rodney Atkins All Day On Big Ticket Thursday

Rodney Atkins is coming to Meridian, Mississippi to play the Jimmie Rodgers Music Festival on May 18th and we've got tickets for you!

Listen at 7:30 tomorrow morning for Madison & Shepherd to announce the 'Big Ticket Thursday Song of the Day'. When you hear it throughout the day, be the third caller at 205.339.4953 and we'll hook you up!

The festival officially gets start with a kick-off party on Thursday, May 16th at 5:30p in Dumont Plaza in Meridian. There's a $5 general admission charge and pets are not allowed.

At 7:30 Friday night, in the MSU Riley Center for Education and Performing Arts in Meridian, The Time Jumpers featuring Vince Gill, Dawn Sears, Kenny Sears and Ranger Doug Green will perform live. Buy tickets for this show now.

Then the fun then moves into the downtown area starting at 9p with the "Jimmie Rodgers Music Festival Juke Joint Night". Featured venues include Brickhouse Bar & Grill, Rhythm & Brews, Echo Lounge, and Faces Lounge.

Saturday, there will be an Arts & Crafts Sale starting at 8a in Singing Brakeman Park.

The Jimmie Rodgers Country & Gospel Talent Competition begins at 9a in the same park with a $5 entry fee. Click here for online entry form.

'Cruisin' with Jimmie' then starts at 2p followed by a parade at 4p.

Sunday will conclude the festival with a wreath laying ceremony at Oak Grove  Cemetery in Meridian.

Kids 12 & under get in free (Must be accompanied by an adult  ticket holder)     No pets allowed.
