Update to Severe Thunderstorm Outlook for West Alabama
As the wet, gloomy weather persists, the Storm Prediction Center has maintained a marginal risk (level 1 out of 5) for severe thunderstorms across West Alabama.
Timing Update
The update to the earlier weather information is that the National Weather Service in Birmingham has extended the timing of the weather, and you can now expect activity into the overnight and early morning hours of Saturday, November 22.
Possible Threats
The main threat is damaging winds, but the overall threat appears to be extremely low.
